The new tumble dryer was delivered (the old one has worn a roller or something, meaning it's started making an awful noise and tearing clothes). As the doors suggest that the washer is supposed to be on the left, and we had a long vent hose, we moved the washer to the left and the dryer to the right (our laundry room is obviously set up for having the dryer on the right, but the house was built before front loaders were prevalent). Now I'm just waiting for Vic to yell at me when she's loaded all the dirty clothes into the dryer :o)
I played some Warcraft in the evening, getting my druid up to level 89.

February 26th
I spent the day in the office, meaning a long day. I drove the van because a) I didn't sleep very well, and was up shortly after midnight and b) it was under 40F when I was starting to get myself sorted out, so it looked like it was going to be awfully cold for a 2 hour ride.

February 25th
I've been talking to Rostra (the manufacturer) about the cruise control for the van for a while now, and today it sounds like the problem is the controller unit - I shouldn't be able to get the motor to disconnect from the actuator as easily as I can. Yay, now I need to talk to the seller (via Amazon) and get it swapped out. The way I feel at the moment, if I have to take the whole thing out (rather than just unplugging the unit) I'll probably just give up and send it back for a refund.
February 24th
Vic was at an SPCA thing, so I put the Van all back together, the started working on a spare shelving unit that I've wanted to put up in the garage. Hours later, it's in, and I think I have more space for storing junk I rarely use.
February 23rd
I started the day playing Warcraft, getting my druid up to level 88. I then went into the garage and rebuilt the trim tab for the Flightstar and peered at the cruise control in the Van... Vic and I took it for a run, and basically it seems to use a magnetic connection between the actuator and the motor, and that's not strong enough for my throttle cable. I'd have thought that if it was that stiff though, I'd have trouble driving the damned thing.
In the evening we went to dinner with Vince.

February 18th
Today was President's Day, when Americans celebrate George Washington's birthday by going shopping.
I've done something to hurt my back, I'm not sure what. I just sat and played Warcraft most of the day, and got my druid up to level 87.

February 17th
Vic was ill all night, so while she was asleep most of the day, I played Warcraft quietly, getting my druid up to level 86.
In the afternoon, when she was up and about, I went over to the airfield and did an hour of circuits and bumps. It was pretty busy at some points, but that's what the radio's for :o)

February 16th
I played around in Warcraft for a while, then went out and spent an hour masking up the Wallace and Gromit kit I've been ignoring for 6 months. I then spent 25 seconds spraying silver paint, and now I need to wait for it to dry before I can re-mask it to spray some black paint. Yay.
We went out in the back garden and hacked back some of the trees - the apricot's started to blossom already, so it looks like spring's coming earlier this year.
I went over to the airfield and took the plane out. On the third circuit, there was a fluttering from the elevator, so I cut the circuit short and went back to the hangar - the trim tab had broken part of the adjusting mechanism, so it was just flapping up and down. I took it off, and continued flying for a while longer.
The "experimental jet" was parked, and it's this one :o)
I stopped by Jack's hangar, as he was working on his plane - he's trying to get some LED strobes to work, but he's trying to make it too complicated. I've suggested he just get them flashing, rather than try and get the pattern matching / changing stuff working. When I got tired of being bitten by mosquitoes, I headed home.

February 12th
In the evening I sat down in Warcraft and got my warlock to level 90. Just the druid to go now, but I'll probably run my warlock through some daily quests to get better armour first.
February 11th
I didn't sleep well, so I was up at 4am playing Warcraft. Still, I have to be glad it's not Tuesday, as the servers are down all early morning for patching.

February 10th
I still wasn't feeling it, so I wasted the day playing Warcraft and pottering around the house.
In the evening, we watched "Branded", which wasn't quite what we thought we were going to watch, but it was OK.

February 9th
I'm still not feeling 100%, so I decided against flying today. That meant I had time for some Warcraft, where I got my warlock to level 89, and I managed to get the weather station working again - and documented it. We went out and hacked lumps off the trees out the front, until the green waste bin was almost full.
In the evening we watched "The Bourne Legacy".

February 7th
I'm feeling almost normal again, so I took Tilly for a quick walk after work.
I also looked at the Raspberry Pi - it threw errors, so I tried a different memory card, and that threw errors too. Then I realised that the problem is the network card. I took that out, and it booted just fine, so I left it enlarging the root filesystem.

February 6th
After work, we watched "Dark Shadows" before I had an early night. It's not bad, but did seem a little long. I'm starting to think I might live.
February 5th
I'm starting to feel a bit better - early nights help, as I start to fall off as I get tired.
February 4th
I dragged myself out of bed and went to work, but had an early night.
I did try and start up the Raspberry Pi with a new SD card, but it threw an error so I gave up.

February 3rd
I was fully in the grip of the man-flu, so I spent most of the day sleeping, then had an early night. Tilly thought I was dying, so she's spent her time either cuddling me or getting used to my spot on the sofa.
February 2nd
I started the day thinking I was getting a cold, and sure enough, as the day went on I got worse and worse.
I put the new battery on Vic's bike, and replaced my old 24" monitor with a new 25" one (it's the same as the other monitor, which means everything lines up and the brightness is sort of similar).
Other than that, I wasted time playing Warcraft and catching up with The Daily Show and The Colbert Report on Hulu until I could potter off to bed.
