I played with my laptop, and it'll work with the old, old, old Dell graphics drivers, but when I try anything newer, it's upset. The problem seems to be that there are actually 2 adapters, the 335GT, and the onboard Intel Series 4. More work needed, methinks.
On a plus note, I did get the old Eee 701 running Android :o) I'm going to look at building a shelf to hold it in the garage next.
